KB’s Week in Review:
Monday:
Today we had P.E. and we did stations. In music we finished watching Peter and the Wolf. This week our letter of the week is S and our popcorn word is the. Today we learned about the “at” word family and made bats with “at” words on the back. In science we finished our five senses unit and made a fall five senses book.
Tuesday:
Today we went to P.E. and played Starwars! In music we earned a fun day! We learned more about bats today and even watched the story of Stellaluna on the computer. We learned a new part of Daily Five today, read to someone, and practiced reading together.
Wednesday:
Today we made a class book for our parents to see at conferences. We read two bats books, Night Time Numbers and Bats at the Beach. We continued to work on rhyming and our S handwriting. Please continue to work with me on my handwriting at home! Today in art we got to paint!!
Thursday:
Today we put numbers in order 1-12 using bats. We also read a nonfiction book and a fiction book about bats. We love bats!! We went to L.M.C. and P.E. today and had fun. Blake had his All About Me today and did a fantastic job! We all looked so great today because it was picture day! We tried to smile our best.
Friday:
Today we read the story, Sylvester and the Magic Pebble and made our own magic pebble to take home. I hope it grants wishes!! We got to think like inventors with Mrs. Horsey this morning and had fun working with the book, 10 Black Dots. We wrote words that began with the letter S and also found words that began with S in our S poem.
